Edison, NJ. In this facility she will receive intensive therapy specialized for her condition.
16-September-2008
Kelly was moved to Children’s Specialized Hospital in Mountainside. She is waiting there until her admission to JFK Hartwyck Rehabilitation is completed. She likes the new place and enjoys all the social visits she has been receiving. She continues in the rehab program and enjoys the recreation therapy. She has access to a computer in her room, and can e-mail and IM friends.
Kelly will be at the Giants football game on Sunday, September 21, 2008 . She will be on the field for the coin toss then watch the game from the skybox.

Kelly was invited the opening of the Giants season, and was on the sidelines for the game.
21-July-2008
Kelly continues to show slow, but gradual improvement. Mobility has improved in her arms, but she is still unable to walk. She is speaking a little more every day.
20-April-2008
In the past week or so Kelly has made quite a bit of progress. The need for the ventilator has diminished a
bit, and she has been able to communicate with doctors and family. She even asked for her last paycheck
from work. She is still "storming" from time to time, but with less frequency and severity.
1-May-2008
Kelly is completely off the respirator! She has been moving a bit more, eating a bit on her own, communicating more, and responding to the physical therapy. Her temperature and respiration are not as variable, medication continues to be reduced, and the “storming” has almost stopped.
8-May-2008
The tracheotomy was removed this past Monday. She continues to improve, speaking a bit more, and seizing and other events continue to subside.
14-Jun-2008
Kelly is breathing completely on her own, and is progressing with physical therapy. She is awake, alert, and briefly conversing with aid workers, friends, and family. All hopeful that Kelly can attend her graduation on June 24th, at Woodbridge High School.
